

Inner City Law Center serves the poorest and most vulnerable
individuals and families in Los Angeles County. We provide
a range of legal representation and social service advocacy
focused on:
We work closely with networks of other non-profit organizations
and government agencies to more effectively advocate on
behalf of our clients. For example, we belong to the
Family Development Network which works together to provide
medical
care, mental health counseling, child care, legal services
and financial counseling to low-income residents of Los
Angeles. We belong to Call to Action, which is a collaborative
of organizations dedicated to preserving, improving and
creating
decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing opportunities
for low-income tenants in Los Angeles. We belong to Housing
LA, which is a broad community coalition working for housing
reform.

Inner
City Law Center conducts in-take services and provides advice
and referrals at the Weingart Access Center. ICLC Advocates
work with homeless and low-income people on a variety of
cases including access to government benefits, landlord-tenant
disputes, eviction defense, consumer
issues, and referrals to other comprehensive
service providers.
Follow-up and case management plans are scheduled by Inner
City Law Center staff. Initial intake of clients occurs
on a first-come, first-served basis, Monday through Friday
from 8:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m..
The Weingart Access Center is closed from noon to 1:00
